Dunadd is an ancient hillfort, said to be the coronation spot for Scottish kings: heart of the Kingdom of Dalriada. 32. View from summit of Dunadd, north towards Kilmartin. Dunadd rises out of the flat flood plain, the Great Moss, the undrained portion of which is still raised bog (Moine Mhor).
33/34. Ancient Pict culture "cup and ring" carvings in bedrock at Auchnabrech. Carvings are extensive in this area, and their meanings still unknown.
