O
Students arrived in Glasgow in late August 2005. We took short trips through the city and surrounding countryside to get acquainted with the area and public transportation.
1. Jet lagged and full of lunch at the summit of Dumbarton Rock. Most students have just arrived in the last day or two.   2. On a walk high in the Campsie Fells, a short train and bus ride from Glasgow. 67. Returning to Strathblane after the walk in the Campsie Fells.
68. Director's flat, Park Circus Place, up five flights of stairs up the hill through Kelvingrove Park. 3. Lord Kelvin, looking like Dumbledore, at home in Kelvingrove Park. 69. Glasgow Cathedral, a stop on our guided bus tour of the city that included the Burrell Collection and the West End. Note the Glasgow coat of arms - the bird, the tree, the bell, and the fish.
