Nanotechnology in the News

1. See Evaluating Sources


2. Find two newspaper or popular magazine articles that relate to nanotech or nanotechnology. For this assignment look for information in print available to the general public. Please exclude references with fewer than 750 words since they will be harder to evaluate.
   
   Begin looking for articles at http://www.beloit.edu/library/ezines.html
   Use Lexis-Nexus Academic Universe.
   Use EBSCO Newspaper Source.
   Try World News Connection.
   Use Academic ASAP, Expanded. (This last one is a good general source but most entries are the wrong scope for this assignment.)


3. Evaluate their likely reliability (See #1.) Should we believe what they tell us? Why or why not? This assignment does not require you to summarize their content! Write a paragraph for each and attach one printed page of the original. (You do not need to print the entire article.) Feel free to refine the criteria but be prepared to share your reasoning.


4. Include a complete citation for the work.
