The main point is that there is no evidence of efficacy of any homeopathic medicine by the Federal Government, as there is for medications. The only reason they are allowed to claim to be effective on product labels is because of DSHEA, a Federal law passed in 1994. I am told the Senator who wrote the law had a major campaign contributor who manufactured homeopathic products. The term "allopathy" was started in 1842 by C.S.
