A recent article in the New York Times - Some tidbits - eating yogurt and nuts causes weight loss, exercise is essential, the most obese eat french fries, chips, sugared drinks, red and processed meats.C. Managing the munchies - Fat in the mouth acts like smoking marijuana, so we truly are designed to be addicted to fat. 4. Short sleep duration causes weight gain3. You are likely to gain weight similarly to those who you eat with. 1. Variety on the menu promotes obesity. 2. Menstural cycle influences food intake 11. Maternal milk consumption is associated with greater fetal weight gain.

DISEASE:5. Red meat consumption is correlated with stroke - Go for the No Fours Diet! 8. High protein diets increase diabetes risk, high cereal fiber diets do not. 9. Low and moderate-sweetened beverages have harmful effects even on young men in 3 weeks. 10. 2,000 IU daily vitamin D reduces risk of diabetes 12. Higher omega-3 intake lowers diabetes risk 13. Fish and shellfish intake reduces diabetes, with no detrimental effects6. Dairy attenuates oxidative and inflammatory stress - Eating 3.5 daily servings - milk, yogurt, and whey food - reduce the two key causes of chronic disease 7. Many fats you eat and those you produce naturally from sugar cause coronary heart disease.
