Resolution 2. Fewer snacks, regular hearty breakfasts - 1. Symposium—Eating Patterns and Energy Balance: - Snacking increases weight gain, breakfast reduces weight gain.

Resolution 3. Get mushrooms,whole grains and rye bread, wine, and nuts in your diet - 2. Get plenty of whole grains -Rye bread helps weight maintenance 3. Drink your daily glass of wine - Flavonoids (from wine and dark fruit and veggies) increase plasma omega-3 levels 4. Eat a handful of nuts daily - Pecans are also great nuts to eat 5. Eat more mushrooms - Mushrooms may reduce arthritis severity

Resolution 4. Get enough vitamin C but moderate vitamin E - 6. Vitamin C reduces ischemic stroke; vitamin E increases hemorrhagic stroke

Resolution 5. Eat fewer refined carbs (white food) - 7. Yellow and purple fleshed potates reduce oxidative stress and inflammatory damage

Resolution 6. Read Nutrition Investigator 8. Your taxes support the results I summarize for you -$2.2 billion spent on 6748 nutritional supplement studies by NIH and USDA from 1999-2007 -

Resolution 7. Nourish your children wisely. 9. Give weaning infants whole milk - Weaning infants not getting enough fat in diet tend to be obese later
